Sanvil's eyes light up as Kendra asks the question, and he begins animatedly explaining: "These here are serums of vitality: they help protect against some forms of radiation, and they heal some of its negative effects. Then we have here this dose of universal serum. Watch this:" he says, flicking a dial on the injector, and the liquid gurgles and changes color. "This one makes you strong," he explains, the serum a cool blue. "This one makes you tougher," he says, the serum changing to an angry red. He flicks it a third time, and it shifts to a minty green. "And this one makes you nimble. But of course, that's not all. This device here," he enthuses, picking up the small, wired device with the chip reader embedded, "is a skilljack. It drills itself into the nape of your neck, here," he says, lifting his hair and showing a point directly on the spine. "Then you can install skillcards and immediately learn how to do certain things, or techniques on activities. It's a remarkable technology, truly wondrous!"

He picks up the roll of tape, and adds, "and this is ion tape. It's a binding agent, highly useful stuff if you need to fix something right quick."

Kendra jots down more as he talks, her eyes lighting up as he explains the skilljack. "I'll definitely have to make a return trip for some of this. But for now, I should report back to my group. I look forward to our next meeting, Sanvil!" With that, she quickly turns to leave before the impulse to buy something takes too deep a hold.

"A pleasure, ma'am!" he calls back, a chipper smile on his face as he stows his newly acquired silverdisks.

With all of her immediate concerns taken care of, Kendra walks around aimlessly while she ponders what to do next. Still no way to work on my backlog. Already had a pretty good day's work anyway with all the spelunking. So that must mean I've earned some fun! Her mind made up, she happily walks off to see some friends.

Kendra approaches a fair sized building, with two stories and a wooden exterior. A sign hangs over the door, and it proudly displays the name of the establishment: the Skysteel Stopwatch. It has red curtains drawn over the windows, and there's a faint smell of incense near the building. Kendra boldly steps inside and quickly looks to see who's around.

A quick survey of the room shows a half-elven woman chatting with a short haired Ulfen man with a full beard and sparkling eyes at the counter. Kendra recognizes the man as Garmen Ulrrth, a mover and shaker within Torch. He’s neither a councilman or a merchant either, and is instead something of a loan shark: most folks in Torch owe him cash. The creaking of the floorboards and some muffled giggling from the ceiling affirm that the employees are probably in. The conversation concludes shortly after Kendra enters, and Garmen takes note of the intrusion. ”I don’t suppose you’d be one of the adventurers who ventured into the caves this morning, would you be?” he asks.

Kendra inwardly raises an eyebrow at the question, but thankfully manages to keep her expression pleasantly neutral. "I am. Why do you want to know?"

”Oh, that’s splendid! I just wanted to offer you and your friends a complimentary visit to the Silverdisk Hall, on me of course,” he says, proffering a set of five vouchers for the location. ”Would you be a dear for me and make sure these get to your colleagues, hmm?” he asks, giving a broad, toothy smile.

Suspicion disarmed by the gift, Kendra smiles brightly. "Oh! Why thank you! I'll definitely make sure these get to their hands."

”It’s my pleasure, my pleasure indeed!” Garmen says, clapping Kendra’s shoulder as he leaves, his hand staying there a bit longer than might be comfortable.

He exits, and Katiya, the gorgeous half-elf at the counter, breathes a sigh of relief. ”I’d throw those out before you’re tempted to go to that damn casino, Kendra.”

Kendra's smile loses some of its luster as his hand stays several moments too long. Once she can be sure she is out of earshot, she quickly cleans off the offending area with a minor spell. That taken care of, she turns her full attention to the woman at the counter, smile back up to full intensity. "Why's that, Katiya? Do they only pay for the door fee and not any of the games, or something like that?"

Katiya shakes her head, her dark hair falling around her eyes. ”The place is bad news, Kendra. The Ropefist gang is the closest thing to a thieves’ guild this town has, yes? And wouldn’t you know it, half the casino’s staff just so happens to pay dues. If you go, you can’t say I didn’t warn you,” the brothel mistress says, filing her nails as she does.

Kendra frowns a bit. "Hmm. I'll make sure to warn the others when I see them. Thanks for the heads up. But! This was not at all what I came in for!" She grins widely as she walks over to the counter and props her elbows on it, looking up at the other half-elf. "I've had a pretty hectic day down in the caves, and I wanted to see how everything was doing over here. It's been a while since I last stopped by, after all."

”Quite well since last you’ve been! You might be able to tell, all of our girls are busy, as is our boy. Things are a bit on the upswing, probably thanks in part to the fact that everyone’s panicked over the fire going out, and all. They want some...” Katiya smiles knowingly. ”Companionship.”

Kendra giggles. "I could indeed tell. A bit sadly, since I was looking forward to seeing them, but there'll always be time later. Yeah, that makes sense. Hopefully it doesn't fall off if we can manage to get that business all dealt with. I'd hate to solve one problem just to be causing others elsewhere." She shakes her head as she considers the possibility. "Oh yeah, we've also found some really interesting stuff down in there. I'll let you know if there's anything you might be able to use."

”I’d be mighty interested to see what you bring back, darling. And I’ll tell you what, if you come by after hours, I’m sure I can find a companion for you,” Katiya says with a radiant smile, one hand subtly playing at the neckline of the scant clothes she wears.

Kendra giggles again, a slight blush playing across her cheeks and ears. With a salacious grin, she replies, "You're incorrigible." Placing her palms flat on the counter, Kendra pushes herself up and leans forward to steal a kiss before hopping back down and walking back towards the door with a wave. "I'll see you later, still have some business to attend to while daylight's burning."

”I’ll count the hours until then, love,” Katiya replies, cradling her head in one palm and leaning over the counter to accentuate her ample bust.

Dazja makes her way back to the Temple of Brigh, breathing a small sigh of relief when she arrives at the bronze-decorated building. As she steps inside, she quickly looks around to see if any of the other acolytes are around.

Dazja recognizes a few going about their business: a pair of young twins named Amelia and Gavin are tending to the temple duties. Gavin gives a bright smile at Dazja’s return, calling over, ”Brigh’s blessings upon you, Dazja. Everything went well, I take it?”

Amelia nudges Gavin and clears her throat, holding out a hand. ”You owe me three gold. She’s back totally intact.” Gavin rolls his eyes and forks over the cash. ”If you’re looking for Joram, I think he’s in the workshop.”

"I'm exhausted," Dazja admits. "I've never had to call on Brigh for aid as much as I did today. I feel like I ran a marathon." She takes a deep breath. "It's nice to be back here. It feels comfortable." Focusing her attention on Amelia, Dazja says, "I'll probably check in with him in a bit. How's everything going here?"

”All is well,” Amelia answers. ”The Technic League’s goon didn’t stop by today, which is... my sole standard for separating a day I dislike from one I like,” she chuckles out.

Gavin grimaces, and goes to fetch a broom. ”Garmen Ulreth stopped by looking for you earlier today as well. He wanted to give you a voucher for Silverdisk Hall? That could be fun.”

"Huh." Dazja tilts her head quizzically. "I don't think I've ever stopped by there. That could be interesting." She glances back to Amelia. "I'd be happier if he wasn't showing up at all, but I'll take what I can get. Anything I can help with before I check in with Joram?"

The twins' eyes meet for a second, they mouth a few things between them, but both shake their heads. "Nah, nothing pressing," Amelia answers.

Dazja nods slowly. "Sure. Just let me know." She makes her way over to the workshop, knocking as she opens the door. "Hello? Joram?"

Joram calls over, "Hello, Dazja! Your friend here was just talking about the places you've gone while I was healing him," he explains, as Dazja enters the small, but cozy and well-lit basement workshop of the temple. Koda is nearby, and Joram had just finished healing his injuries.
