Julian lets the group into the room. As he closes the door he looks around to make sure no one's around. "Ahhh, glad you've returned unharmed, I trust everything was handled well?" He asks, looking between the adventurers, and upon spotting Lexi, visibly brightens.

"We barely broke a sweat," says Stripes. "So, about our payment..."

"Oh yes, of course, I'm a man of my word after all," He says, pulling out small pouches of 100GP each. He hands one to each of you. "If you're interested in further employment, there's the matter of who would take Lexi in the first place."

"Fortunately we even have a lead on that. Or, a town and rough timing anyways," Claw says, grinning like she'd just received a whole bowl of cream as she weighs the pouch in her hand. "I'm sure we can figure more out from there easily enough."

Stripes fetches the note and hands it to Julian.
