Legacy of Fire Gameplay

Mahvash translates as the girl signs and nods when she finishes. ”That’s good, I’m glad his recovery is going well. I imagine the temple’s restoration is helping with your mood as well.” She shifts her stance to be more inclusive of Koray. ”Introductions are probably in order. Koray, this is Nari, the mage who’s been part of our group for some time, and one of the two major forces to defeat Jhavul. Nari, this is my husband Koray.”

"It's very nice to meet you, Koray," Nari signs. "I didn't know you had a husband, Mahvash. But then again, I suppose you're a fairly private person."

"You could say that again," Koray chuckles and extends a hand to shake. "Still, it's a pleasure to meet you too."

Nari accepts the handshake, before returning to signing. "Is this your first time on the material plane?"

"It is," Koray confirms, nodding. "Planar travel is difficult for most people, but now that Mahvash can do it relatively easily I plan to visit more often."

Nari nods. "I'm planning on traveling to other planes myself," she signs, growing excited as she talks about her plans. "I think the Plane of Water was the first place I had in mind, I'd love to visit the Shadow Plane too. You'd be welcome to come along to the Plane of Water, by the way, Mahvash."

"What's in the Plane of..." Mahvash trails off as the answer occurs to her. "Ah, to see Shazathered? That might be enjoyable," she answers with a small smile. "My first focus is going to be on restoring Vardishal to full form, but I'll keep you posted in case the times line up." She pauses, and adds, "I suppose I should look into what needs to be done for selling that citadel as well. Why do I have plans across four different planes?"

"Five, quite possibly," Nari signs. "Tereza and Rayhan will wanting to return to Kakishon, once the issues with the scroll have been fixed. If our stay there didn't put you off it too much, at least."

”I will definitely not return to Kakishon,” Mahvash answers, perhaps a little too immediately and a little too strongly. She clears her throat. ”Ah, but good luck with the work there.”

"I understand," Nari signs. "Our time there was certainly not the best experience. In any case, I think that's something for the further future."

Lydia walks up in the midst of Kakishon plans, raising an eyebrow. "I'll be completely honest, I don't know how anyone could consider a second trip there. Welcome back by the way, Mahvash." She looks to the kayal and eyes her companion up and down speculatively. "I see you brought a friend."

"Husband," Koray corrects her with a little smile, his brow creasing briefly in thought. "You must be... Lydia?"

"That I am," Lydia smiles. "It's funny, I figured Mahvash had family back home but I never considered a husband."

"Well, there's no ring," Koray concedes with a chuckle. "Well, except the one that you had her wear," he adds, smiling wider. "I'd be jealous, but I think I owe you thanks instead."

"Ah, that reminds me, we do actually need to get a set of rings," Mahvash comments, expression clearing as she remembers something. "I don't plan to do anything soon to make you wonder if I'm alive, but they'll make sure you have proof should something arise again."

"Think nothing of it," Lydia waves him off. "Mahvash is a friend and comrade. And you have nothing to be jealous of, she's perhaps only a few steps shy of the exact opposite of my type."

Mahvash raises an eyebrow at this, but keeps any barbed comeback to herself.

"Zastoran can help you with the rings," Nari signs. "It does require the help of someone who can channel positive energies to activate them."

"Believe me, if I were the jealous type, this wouldn't have worked out at all," Koray laughs and shakes his head. "And yes, I'd like a way to be sure in case you vanish for five months again. That was worrying."

"I get the feeling 'worrying' would be an understatement," Mahvash answers with a laugh. "That would be great, Nari, thank you for mentioning. We'll have to ask him about it soon."

As Mahvash and Koray continue on, they come upon Krunk and Haleen, already working on the drinks. They’ve apparently commandeered a keg of ale to split. Mahvash pauses, not sure if this introduction is the best timing.

Haleen spots the pair and splits into a grin, clearly already having drank her fill. "Mahvash! And a friend!" she slurs, then fills up two more mugs and shoves them into the couple's hands. "Drinks!"

”Ah, um... thank you, Haleen?” Mahvash answers tentatively. Is it worth pointing out she doesn’t drink ale? ”You two seem to be enjoying yourself already?”

"First to start, last to finish!" Haleen agrees enthusiastically. "And who's this?" she gestures at Koray, who had just taken a gulp of the ale himself.

”This is my husband, Koray,” Mahvash introduces.

"Oh fuck, you're married?" Haleen asks incredulously, prompting a snort of laughter from Koray. "Krunk, did you know this shit?"
